Many internet ‘repairers’ now offer cut-throat cheap fixes for these units but they just fit a cheap fake copy touchscreen fixed only by outer edge sticky tape! This quick ‘fix’ leaves an unbonded void across the entire LCD surface which facilitates bubbling & failure.

We’ve seen loads of these now! 

Car Audio Medics separate & fully remove the faulty touchscreen then thoroughly solvent clean the LCD to remove all the old faulty adhesive. We then fit a brand new digitizer which is 'fully bonded' with the correct adhesive over the whole LCD to ensure no gaps or bubbles.

Our ‘proper job’ repair obviously involves a lot more skill and labour but is done correctly (as should be) for reliability & longevity yet still at a very competitive price! *
